Call me late to the party but just discovered a great Documentary on Sir Jackie Stewart named “Stewart”. A great retrospective on one of the sports greatest. It includes coverage of his 80th birthday celebration at Silverstone a few years ago. The old racing footage video has been enhanced and looks amazing in HD

I previously recorded it, and just finished watching it.

Very well done. Definitely recommend watching.

I can recall Jackie Stewart from my childhood, vaguely. But I was young when he retired from F1. More likely, I recall him from his days as a commentator / host on Wide World of Sports.

So, I found this documentary to be quite informative. And rather inspiring. I can only hope to have such perspective and optimism at 80....
