Could it be a cradle for mounting something like an IRS pumpkin? Those square plates look like the cutouts are sized to accept the ends of large angle iron mounting bracket and that assembly looks to be approximately long enough to mount between the frame rails.

If not, I'm clueless, as usual

Cheers!!

The flat plates with the "L" shaped cut out go in the trunk and cover the section of the floor thats cut out where your bumperettes/quick jacks mount.

The other 2 pieces look like they might be the mounts for the rollbar.

H-Rod is correct
The two metal brackets are for the roll bar mounting
I felt the roll bar was not tall enough, so I had made some extension pieces.
They were made from 1-3/4" heavy wall tubing with one end turned down to fit inside the roll bar ends and welded on.
I am trying to remember I think I added 3" or so.
This way it conformed to the rule about top of roll bar to top of fender straight line, your
The top of your noggin needs to be under the line.
