wheel well protection
I'm looking to see what people have used to protect their paint job from stones hitting the underside of the wheel well. I have already used a rubber spray on bedliner coating in the wheel wells, but it doesn't seem like that's going to be enough to protect the fiberglass body from getting star cracks in the paint. I have seen some people have used spray foam or glued on foam matts. I'm not sure if these have worked or have lasted.

I have Avon tires so I purchased 1/4" neoprene sponge foam rubber sheets from Amazon. I cut patterns for all fenders and used 3M spray adhesive to install.

Home Depot or Lowes?? Have 1/4" firm rubber flooring that I was considering. It is in the carpet/flooring section. This would be VERY good protection if you find the right adhesive ; ) Cut some slits across the backside so it contours well, then contact cement away. I have a slight star in my front fender that I would like to avoid seeing again!
I know I saw it on a 2' wide roll by the foot, or 4' precut in different lengths.. Like this

I ended up using 1/4" neoprene sponge from amazon, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WFX5713...C6S2F8GQ0AJG51 and 3m super 77 spray. So far everything has held up.
