Default Have you seen this Cobra around Phoenix?

Have any of you ever seen this Cobra in the Phoenix area?

My buddy here in Illinois is buying this Cobra which was built in Apache Junction in 2010.
The name on the paperwork is Al Harrover. It is a very well built car.

Ralphie, I do not recall seeing this car. But, then I do not recall much of anything anymore.
Of course, A-J is a long way from here.

No, although that's the first thing that came to me after I took the picture, it is real red! Close to the red on my car.
It has a 472 Ford from a bored out 390, and the chassis has doubled-up 2" round tube frame instead of 2"X4" like most replicas have.
After my buddy gets it we'll put it on my lift and take some pictures of the unique frame construction.

Dan, what size tubes were used on a contemporary? I know FFR uses a 4"

4" frame patterned after the original car that was used to pattern the body. CSX3015 I believe. Looking closer at this car, the wheel wells are different and the cut out for the side pipes looks too far forward for a Contemporary.

Chris, it is Cosmo who you met at the Belvidere Breakfast run a couple of months ago. He was the one with the red Cobra-like car with the Austin-Healy-like nose, built bu Classic Roadsters.

I live 3 miles east of AJ and have never seen this car in the area driving around. The only one I've seen at all is a light blue MkI FFR roadster that belongs to a drag racer on Idaho road. If this car is still in the area, he is keeping it hidden in the garage. I did see a red car similar to this at the Mercy Gilbert Medical Ctr. car show in 2011, I think. Don't know if that was the same one but it looked well done. WEK.
