28° This Morninig. Time for a JAUNT!
AccuWeather is calling for mid 60°s Saturday with no rain, until later in the evening, SO, I WANNA DRIVE. I'm thinking a Saturday afternoon drive would be big fun. That little jaunt Scottie, Mark and I took going south from Wickenburg was nice and I'm going to do it again. I'll leave the Carefree/i17 gas station at noon, go over to Wickenburg, head south on the Vulture Mine Road to i10, then head for home. Without going to Salome, and having lunch, it should be only 3 1/2-4 hours.
Anyone going to join me?

Maybe
I was also thinking of going to Cars & Coffee @ 7000 E Mayo Blvd on Saturday morning. Obviously, WARM clothes would be a MUST, since my LA Exotics has NO TOP!!
An afternoon run might be a nice idea...

I'm in Saskatchewan, Canada - the forecast high for today is +3°C / 38°F, the same as yesterday. New Year's Day low ambient temperature was -31.5°C / -24.7°F. We had a 35°C / 63°F swing in about 36 hours.
Wacky weather.
p.s. Our normal high for January 3 is about -10°C / 14°F.

They have a little cruise in on Main St. and Signal Butte in Mesa on Fridays. Starts around 2:00 and ends around 6:30 or 7:00.

Yeah, I'm thinking sitting on the blacktop, talking to all those people that knew someone that had an original, would be a lot more fun than driving my Cobra maybe 250 miles.

Don't know about that, but it is better than driving across the valley at 4:30 or 5:00.

How about 116.6 f/ 47 oC here today in Swan Hill Australia. We're on the edge of the desert. I don't know what's worse. Freezing or melting?

You should have stayed here in 'temperate' Adelaide, Jaydee, instead of crossing the border.
Was only 42 deg C (108 deg F) here yesterday. Wasn't too hot in the garage.
Thirsty weather.
Cheers!
Glen

When it's cold you can add layers. When it's hot you can only remove a certain amount before people start objecting.

Not if the Cobra driver is a well-stacked, 25-year-old curvy chick!
