Sunday Sunday Sunday 11/03
Scotty has coerced me into taking a ride tomorrow morning. We're going to meet at the expensive Chevron station down by the drag strip, right off I10 and Wild Horse Pass. Leave at 9am for a cruise down I10, then towards Coolidge to rt 79 just south of Florence. (Scotty doesn't want to even think about Florence???) Brunch at Lupe's at Oracle Junction. I'll then head on to Oracle and hopefully the back way up Mt. Lemmon. Scotty? Who knows where he'll head for? Come on down. The weather is just too nice to not be driving our go carts.

I'm up for it Karlos, if only the little "Pik-nik" 289 car, wasn't in the shop Something about the steering shaft U-joints being worn out & the wrong (Cheap) ones. Oh, and I wasn't 1800 miles away. Have fun boy's, Cheers TommyRot.

I've been on the road from Oracle to the top. It's not for Cobras...except maybe the special off-road kind.

Me too Karl, at least with the U-joints, but again it was built in 1992, so maybe that's all they had. New 4140 needle U-joints, should cure my center dead spot, and hard steering. Least that what the "boys" are saying, Cheers my friend, and have a safe (quick) drive today. http://www.colemanracing.com/Steerin...yle-P4187.aspx

For sure it was a beautiful day for a little spin. 240 miles for me. We bypassed the Florence LEOs but sure saw a lot of them on down the road. I came back a different route than Keith, Jim, Scott, and Mark. No doubt my road was more fun. (Oracle Jct to Winkleman to Superior to Mesa)
