Scottsdale Cars and Coffee
I’m going this Saturday. Its been a while, so I figured why not.
It looks like, if they let you into the event (at their discretion) they will collect $10.00 cash only for PCH. Otherwise, spectator parking is free.
They also mentioned some spirited departures are jeopardizing the event. Please be respectful of the community.
For those who are unfamiliar:
7-10 AM
Scottsdale 101 Shopping Center
7000 E Mayo Blvd
Phoenix, AZ 85054

MKS427,
Can't make it this Saturday. Is this a weekly event? If so, if you decide to do it again on March 21st. let us know.

Hey Gus,
If you need someone to drive that thing when you’re not available, I’ll step up.

First Saturday of the month. This is the same organization that puts on Concourse in the Hills, all proceeds got to Phoenix Children's Hospital. They are mainly about high end European exotics, race cars, and rare American muscle.
Here's a link to their website:

Thanks MKS for providing the info and the link. I just sent them an email requesting that they pre-qualify my BDR RT4 for the April 4th event as suggested on their application.
Looks and sounds like a fun event and the proceeds going to the Children's Memorial Hospital is for a most worthy cause!
Thanks again for the lead!

Gus, hope you are accepted, just to crank up Windex Mike. They refused to let his uber nifty polished Kirkham in, even after he'd paid the annual (or what ever) fee.
BTW No show for me. Going to Tucson

To be completely clear.....in my case when they moved to a membership system I just blindly paid the annual fee thinking that the show would be like it always was (ie collector cars, exotics, hot rods etc). Then later when I read the definition of what a “qualifying car” was I realized my replica didn’t really meet the definition (exotic, race car or rare American muscle) so I just didn’t go. I refused to “ask permission” to see it was okay to bring the Kirkham.....
Mark and Gus let us know if they let you in.
Mike

In particular this is why I concluded my car was not welcome....from their website
“Vintage American such as authentic 60's era American Muscle such as Shelby Cobra, Mustang, C1/C2 generation Corvettes, Chevelle, Camaro”

FYI - I received a response yesterday to my request to attend. Scuderia advised "Come on out" and sent me the directions. I'll let you know how it goes. Gus

$10 for PCH and I was IN.
Ran into Ron E. there. We talked for a while.
I also met Haim and his mechanic Alex there. He has a Superformance Daytona Coupe and a Backdraft Roadster. They brought both cars. Paul got him set up on Facebook and he now knows about ClubCobra. I suspect we may see him on a run or two.
