Default Lake Havasu City day before Fun Run

Dan and I have decided to head out a day before the Kingman Fun Run. We thought it would be nice to add an extra day/stop.

I just spoke with Amanda at Island Suites 928 855-7333. Room rates for Thursday 4/29 $116-$130 K, K w/Q pull out, and K & Q rooms. See informed me that they, Lake Havasu, are working on moving the Rockabilly Event to that weekend. She advised booking sooner than later, as they expect to be full, if it happens. The event will have a car show.

4/29/21 11 AM departure Fry's Gas Station Dove Valley Rd east of I-17, 2770 W Dove Valley Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85085. We are going through Wickenburg and taking US 60 to avoid the Interstate. Dan wants to skip lunch, even though there is a good place for a handmade burger in Salome. We will figure out dinner plans when we get to Lake Havasu, which should be around 2:30.

Friday we will depart 8 AM, drive Route 66 Topock to Seligman, and meet up with the gang. We will have breakfast at Westside Lilo's when we get to Seligman, about 11:30 or so.

Hey Boys, we have a old club member in Havasu, do you want me to contact him? Now I have to warn you he's a Retired WSP officer, so if you ALL get thrown in jail it's your boy's fault not mine . Seriously really nice guy, him and two others all built 3-FFR roadster as a team, all came out as beautiful cars. His name is Chris (Still has his car), I can send him this post, OK with you folks? You met me (Washington guy) and I guess I "passed muster" Cheers TommyRot.

Tommy, go for it. Tell him we should be in town late afternoon on Thursday and will be staying at island Suites. Perhaps he can join us for dinner Thursday night? Feel free to give him my phone number.
