21st Anniversary Summary

22 cobras, 26 cars, 55 people. Lots of fun. Ran long, until almost 3pm. These photos are from inside the shop.

Here are the 4 Marines that shared most of the day with us plus a photo of one of the 5 overfilled boxes they took with them stuffed in a SUV.

Awards this year went this way:

Iron Butt: Karl, Iron Butt, Bebout
This photo is from 2019 since Karl didn't make it last year and he forgot to bring the (his) trophy this year. You didn't want to see his outfit anyway.

Most Spirited: Jim Cook since he's the only person who crashed his car this year.

Club Booster: Went to Juan Toledo. This photo was taken tonight since Juan was racing his Mustang at AMP today.

Finally, this photo was taken on Dec 6, 2000, our first gathering where we established the club and our name at Gordon Levy's shop in Tempe. 42 people in photo in case you're counting.

Here is a photo of Mike Canning and his new Shelby Bar table and 4 flamed bar stools for his home. Thank you to Ron and Pam Evans.

These are the 2 items our club gave to Ron and Pam as tokens of thanks for their generosity and friendship.
First the plaque, second the tin 427 Cobra sign

Good for you guys. I am sure they had a blast. When I was a young Marine I was involved with Toys for Tots while in Salt Lake during some training. At that age never imagined owning a Cobra. Now awaiting arrival of my second. Backdraft #2372. Hopefully will be in my driveway June 1st. Looks like your group has alot of fun.

What a great party. I didn't see anybody at this party that wasn't having a good time or getting enough to eat. I was privileged to have one of the Marines it was there select my car for a ride, and I hope we did it right. By the way he's now a member of the lifelong 120 mile an hour club.

Hmmm, could the fact that #98 is predominately centered in the pictures of the cars have anything to do with your preference?

Thank you to everyone that came and made it an awesome Christmas Party and our first official event in our new shop! Huge shout out to Mikey and Bob for starting this tradition over 20 yrs ago!
