Default Arntz, Butler just sold

A beautiful Arntz-Butler Cobra sold on E-Bay for $62,600. It was built in 1978 and was absolutely stunning. It came with tons of photos, receipts and articles. I wish I was ready to buy because they would be shipping it to me. It was a three time winner at the Sacramento Autorama from 2013 -2015. The restoration cost $56,000 and is fully documented. Some lucky owner is going to enjoy it.

Lucky??? maybe, maybe not.
Since you indicated you're learning, you should give some serious consideration to the technology and componants available over the last 5-10 years compared to 1978.

What intrigued was the AC frame. This wasn't really a kit car per say. It looked sick.

Horses for courses Tim.

My Arntz was built in 1979. It's carbied big block working side pipes old school feel really appeals to me. Sure there are many modern Cobras about but a factory built car, and one built to last by one of Shelby's crew at that, means more to me than a shiny new one with no history.

My son has a 1983 Contemporay with a 452 FE so maybe my appreciation of old school cars runs in the family.
