Default ROH wheel machining issues

Hey just a quick question for those who've had modular wheels made by ROH, has anyone ever had problems with their machining?

I ordered a set of 18in 3 piece wheels in feb, only to find when i recieved them they didn't fit
SO
When I had taken them back to my tyre store, who were helpfull, I brought along a spare hub to show them just what didn't fit, i even sent the hub off with the wheels.
NOW
Yesterday, i recieved my wheels again, 6 months after first ordering, and i loosely fit my hub into the wheel and thought all was ok so i had my tyres fit. When i brought them home to bolt to my cobra it was still wrong? sat about 2mm pround from flat on the hub, so when i spun the wheel on my car it spun like a buckled rim on a bike.
When I checked with the hub and they didn't fit the hub either.
Another frustrating thing, is rather then machine my first wheels, they cast a new set. I have jag hubs, and the first set the dust caps sat out and the rim looked like it had more dish.
The new set that's come would fit dust caps, but the centres are so close to the front edge they look like cheap bob jane wheels.
My car is nearing completion and this may hold me up
What are your thoughts

Default No excuses!!

I would be sending them back via the retailer and make contact with Roh management.
Tell them how dissapointed you are and you want this issue fixed you paid for wheels that fit and its not like they have never made wheels for a jag before.
in the age of cnc machining this inexcusable .
Give them grief at the top level . and demand a quick responce.

I returned my wheels and explained what i wanted done, and the tyre shop i went through were happy to send them back.
I also stated that if my problem isn't fixed within the next two weeks they can have their rims back, and i'll expect my money back.
So now i have to wait and see...
Also, do they charge for centre caps?, because when i recieved my wheels, the first and second time, it never came with any.

1uzer, I've got a couple of sets of ROH 3 piece on 2 of my cars and I reakon they are as good as anything I've seen anywhere. I think the problem could be that about a year ago they stopped making them out at Woodville S.A. and are having them made in China. If you drop me a line I'll put you in contact with the right man that should be able to help you!

Regards. 0407 80 70 60.

Anyways, while i was working on my cobra i had a phone call stateing my wheels had arrived. Not only had they arrived , but so did a boxfull of stubby holders and hats. And better still, they finally fit.

Big thumbs up to ROH to a quick two day turn around.

And while they didn't change they visual dish of the rim, they'll do until registration.
Expect photos soon...

I just got the wheels I have been searching for, a set of V5 meshie Simmons. I reckon they will look good when I make the centres white and polished outers against the dark blue car paint. It took over 2 years of looking to find the right set and boy was I glad to find them.
All the joy turned to fear when I went to bolt them on yesterday only to find the counterbore in the rims was 73mm whilst the jag hubs are 74mm. What to do? Machine all the wheel centres or machine all the hubs?
2 stubbies later I had a plan, a cunning plan at that. Scrounge around in the shed and found the antique Hipswell cylinder ridge remover, set it up and lubed it and enlarged the first rim bore in about 10 minutes. Talk about a sigh of relief.
Now if I can get it right in a relatively short time you'd think a wheel supplier would get it right even quicker.
I didn't get rewarded with any stubby coolers or caps for my inconvenience or ingenuity, but hey, I got the wheels I wanted on, I am a happy camper now.

don't have any great shots of the rear but 18x12 with 315's made for a tight fit, and with 0 offset. There are two other cars on this forum wearing the same style rim, can't remember who though
