"Faster than anything Steve McQueen owns"

love it! And I reckon that scoop suits the body shape better than the traditional low version. Very angry and all kinds of evil to strike fear into the hearts of other motorists. Can you imagine that thing gaining on you? Looking in the rear vision mirror and thinking "The bloody thing is going to eat me!"

Smile

I met this guy at a local car show this summer. I don't remember his name but I do remember he was from Pennsylvania. He drove his Snake from Pa. to Huntsville, Al to visit friends. Hear about the car show and enter.
In doing research for his build he had talked to everyone that was still alive that was involved with the two SuperSnakes. I remember him telling the story about the guy that delivered the SuperSnake to Bill Crosby and the trooper that investigated the wreck of the Crosby SuperSnake. Great guy, lots of story's about the cars and great attention to detail on his car.

Former governor of Alabama; famous quote was "Segregation now, segregation forever!"

Shot in assanination attempt in 1972 and paraplegic. Arthur Bremmer was shooter.

Supposed to have helped NASCAR on Talladega track.

Wife became governor later. Wallace was Pacific fleet boxer in Navy, sort of an Edward G. Robinson character. MR. ROBINSON WAS NOT A RACIST AS FAR AS I KNOW.
