Alice Springs MotorKhana
Once again I organised a MotorKhana day.
We held this yesterday at Alice Springs Inland Dragway.
Numbers where a little down (about half) compared to last year, so I personally was a little disappointed in that, but I cant make people compete.
We ran 4 motorkhana events on 4 different courses (all made up on the spot, trying to keep it open enough for big cars) with everyone getting 3 goes at each course.
I had a GoPro on the side of my car, and sat it on a start line cone for one round.

Dave, looks like a fun day. I love the sound of the XY sedan.
Captain Bigglesworth seemed to do a good job driving the Cobra

The XY Sedan is a genuine GT car.
The guy used to race Targa Tassie in a Brock commodore, but had to sell it (in halvies with a mate).
He is building up a XY race car (replica of his genuine car) to start competing in these style events again.

With the curved helmet stick on mount.
The curve is the same as the rear guard.

Can also happily report at no time did the BillBoards touch or rub any part of the car :-)

Stick on eh Dave? Phew for a moment there I thought you'd had an epiphany and polished a patch so the suction mounting would stay put. I see you've already got the barbie on for the after party.
cheers
