Default Too fast -- must be!

Here's a photo Craig took coming back from last month's breakfast.
The speed of my old Arntz must be phenomenal. Look how its bow wave is distorting the fencing!

Well the M1 can get boring so we have to imagine we're doing something exciting.

It's not really distorted. It's like when you flush a toilet in your area it just doesn't know any better than to flush in the opposite rotation than it is suppose to.

My Arntz only has a wheezy small block, so I haven't found the secret button yet...

As a former employee of the Department of Main Roads I can recall quite a few sound barriers being erected like that on Friday afternoons!

Actually, it flushes in the same direction north and south of the equator. It's just that those of us in the northern hemisphere are looking at the top side of the flushing water while our friends in the southern hemisphere are upside down looking at the bottom side of the water.

I actually did a test once to check the rotation of toilet water----------I managed to get the use of a B 767-300 and flew it from New York to Buenos Aires, checking the rotation of the toilet drain every 10*------------after lots of discussion about it, the results were nullified because we haddened done it on either March 21 or Sep 21????????????????

It was nice to see the North Star come up over the horizon on the return trip (sorta like watching for the moon in the east--------
