Don

A lot like a very large pair of breasts - way too much to really do anything sensible with - lol

I got into trouble with I'm guessing 300 ponies under the right foot. Trebling that is just asking for trouble.

Anyway we know the cars are traction limited but it might be useful at the SummerNats burnout competitions - ha!

Slowy I guess the power output is just the product of the build. I'm the first to admit that anything over 350 hp is probably unuseable for most of us most of the time on the road, but what impressed me with this build was the willingness of the builder to embrace today's electronic technology to the max.

Sure it's not a classic Cobra under the skin by any stretch of the imagination but it goes to show just what can be achieved if you're smart enough and have the finances and are willing to push the envelope that little bit further.

I have the feeling that some of the Absolute Pace cars will be built by forward-thinking owners for whom the history of the marque is perhaps largely inconsequential, and will give free rein to their creative talents. LexLuther springs to mind as the type of innovative person who will advance the build of these cars into the next generation. And I'd love to see what OzVenom could come up with given time and a juicy budget.

But yes, 1000 hp? Don't think so. I remember riding in Craig's old bluey with "only" 750 hp and my eyeballs are still out of whack after some of his more injudicious acceleration runs. Fun though ... real good fun.
