Seems like a lot of kit for the money. I wonder whether it would pass our twist and bend test.

Given the number of registered FF cars in OZ, I would say yes.

I keep hearing that US standards are not as stringent as ours. I suppose any kit can be made to pass with enough extra steel.

Sounds a good deal to me!
And I know the Mk IV is deemed strong enough in WA, no more steel required. The wipers are a low cost option. This is a great deal.

one would have thought if you was selling a kit deemed for the road .wipers wouldn't be a option they should come with the kit imo.

I believe if you don't install the windscreen you don't need wipers. Has been done before.
Bit like if you don't have a roof, you don't need a heater/demister.
Things may have changed..!
Cheers

I "think" there is only one other mob selling a comprehensive kit in OZ. Cant remember their name as they really don't promote themselves much, but its about $55k isnt it (includes wheels though). Some may argue it is not an apples to apples comparison, but its a lot of kit for the money IMO. Even at $38,200 including wipers Deano.

Mine on day of compliance test.
Note, no wipers as car has an aero screen.
