Default Mt Cootha Hill Climb - Its on again

Its on again. 100 cars only.

Hill Climb Car Racing Events in Brisbane | Cootha Classic

Great to see QCCC Jim Diakogiannis in his Harrison AC Cobra competing in modified class.

Another Cobra in unlimited class is the Lucas Oils Ford Cobra which might be Mark Crespans? Looking at this class there's some bloody nice and interesting competitors. That Audi Quottro S1 looks awesome.

Good luck to everyone competing.

Now that's an event( Mt Cotton Hill Climb) you could do Matt --no one else on the track at one time but you and the weather is usually fine -- a great challenge and a goal to be achieved

Two completely different cars, but it's pretty cool to see how well they both get out of the corners. Very cool!

Always loved those Group B Rally cars. Just the maddest machines in their day. Like the rally equivalent of Can-Am cars. That 5 cylinder Audi motor sounds great.

Heard about it this week off the lotus club forum. Entries closed June. You're in the know about all things Motorsport mate you should give us all the heads up?

I'm at QR playing this weekend with the porkie club.

I am looking forward to this. A good selection of cars and here is another that will be interesting to see as well.

Without hijacking my own thread I'll add to my last that I'm planning to put together a Motorsport calendar for next year with the qccc Motorsport man Pete H which we will send out to all members (and post up here too) in January so they all will have lots of notice to plan for events in the upcoming year.

We are also planning with the help of geoff T to get an event of sorts we can tap into at QR like or similar to the muscle car. I'm catching up with Paul Stokel on the weekend too to see what I can get worked out with him for next year too. 😀

thanks spookypt. Pretty happy for my 1st attempt at this type of event. Even beat a Lambo! Was a bit unorganised in a.m. but got going proper after 11am and was good day in end. Would consider doing again next year, especially as I only have to drive 1km to get there....no trailer required!
