Default DRB Cobra

Interested in finding out what size rims and tires have been fitted, i.e. will 295/45/18 fit on the rear? I looked at some wheels and tires nitto 555 295/45/18 on 9.5" wide rims.

295 50 18 is huge.

Are you either after 295 50 15 , or 295 35 18 (I know there are 285's , just not sure of 295's)

Sorry Leroy .. I amended the size I looked at, they were 295 45 18. I'm just worried that big would foul on something.

Your worries are valid. At 28.5" diameter and as wide as they are, unless you have the rear jacked up like a 4WD, the tyres will certainly foul.

It largely depends on your chassis number, the later chassis had bigger flared guards and you could fit larger wheels.
For example, my Chassis is number 250, November 2000. The race wheels I fitted were 18x9.5 on the front with 270 wide slicks and on the rear was 18x11 with 300 wide slicks..... but there is no way you could fit them on an earlier chassis.............

What height are your 300 wide tyres Ash? I'd have thought that a 28.5" tall tyre wouldn't stand a chance of fitting.

Ash was probably running 300/650 Michy slicks. I've seen Gary W's race drb with 280/680 from memory. The porkie gt3 rears can run 710s but they're still short of 28.5inches. Never seen a cobra with that big a rear shoe.

I did run a 270/680/18 rear for a while but the gearing was wrong so I changed to the 650 diameter. Mine is low in the rear so if it is a later model chassis then it should fit. Provided you have the correct offset rims.....
