Hi and welcome Robert. Congratulations on persisting and completing an Autostyling kit. I use the term kit loosely as they didn't come with much. You maybe interested to know it was an Autostyling that took out top gong in the Show n shine at the very first Nationals at Mildura.
Tell us a bit about it; engine transact etc, colour, wheels, trials and tribulations of the build and rego process. Or even a pic or two
Cheers

Welcome! That's a pretty cool drivetrain combo with the big block and sequential shifted toploader!

Hi Chris,
Good to see you on the forum and thanks again for volunteering to look at that V8 Supercar for me.
You should make the trip over to the Nationals this year mate!
Ash.

Hi Chris,
Did you run your 7' replica at the Geelong speed trials a couple of years ago?

I'm a bit confused here - is it Chris or Robert? maybe just cg514.

Anyway, did you have a chassis fabricated or pick one up from a cobra kit supplier? What front end bits? It would have been a long haul just starting with a body. An Auto Styling I've seen was just a body shell, no cockpit. doors, boot and bonnet were still two piece needed to have the inners bonded.

I looked into them in about '85 and left them alone as the guy told me to use an MGB windscreen. We're spoilt with what's available today

I think there may have been an issue with the site. I have had trouble opening it all this week from home and work.
