AVO Shocks
Hi everyone,
I thought it was worth telling you all of the great service I have received from AVO.
I have double adjustable shocks on my car and have had the usual leaks we are familiar with and have had them repaired by a firm in Qld a couple of times only to have them leak again.
I was ready to replace them but since Grahame from AVO in Sydney piped up and said that he would like a chance to redeem his brand by repairing mine correctly I decided it was worth one more go.
I would like to report he was very prompt with getting them turned around, sent me photos explaining what was wrong, supplied reports for each unit from his shock dyno and was very good on price.
The proof will be how they survive, but my experience thus far was very positive.
Gav

Great to read about a company making good on what appears to be a common fault.
Providing they hold up well and the word gets out, I see that they have just guaranteed much future service work.

Great to hear about the good service experience. We all wait to see if having them repaired by the master will actually fix the problem for good!

Will be keen on a report card after your next event Gav,
I still have my broken one and others are leaky.

Gav, I too would like to add my voice to how good Grahame at AVO Australia has been. Sent my shocks from Bundaberg QLD to Grahame in Sydney and got my shockies back a week later fully reconditioned and dynoed. Fitted them this morning and i am very impressed with the ride quality so far.
regards
Mick

Hi Guys
This is probably the wrong thing to say but I bought a set of 4 AVO shocks direct from the UK back in 2007 and they have done 40,000 Kms on my GT40 with no faults or leakage so far.
Fingers crossed.
