Hi JD,
A roto-mold Cobra PE body would be a great and inexpensive way to build a Cobra. There are some drawbacks to the idea, though: there is no twist rigidy support with a PE body, PE shrinks and expands at a great rate, especially a problem is direct sunlight (when the plastic becomes soft and malluable), paint won't adhere to PE (or at least for a long period of time), direct sun will fad the colorant in the PE, you would need a 1 inch wall thickness for a piece that size and a need for steel reinforcements for supports, these are just a few that come to mind. Years ago, a toy company sold a kids foot powered polythe car. They only lasted a few years before disintergrating. But, I like the way you think!!!!
