Hey all.
Yeah it was a big storm, and a huge drop in temperature with it.
I was up town at one of the local shopping centers, I left as it was so loud you couldn't hear the attendant at the cash register in front of you.
When I got out into the underground carpark it was full of cars that had ducked in to escape the hail.
I got to my car just before a wave of water about 3 inches deep washed through the carpark (it was like a miniature version of watching the Todd first flow)
I managed to get out of the carpark pretty easy as I was right beside the exit road, when I got outside I could see water rapidly flowing down the street and already up over footpaths and washing in through the Commonwealth and Westpac banks and Hooker real estate mob.
The road past the post office was blocked by the Police as it is a low point and would have already been a foot deep.
I made my way back to work having to drive through water about 18-24 inches deep past the railway station.
Hail was very heavy, with hail still on the ground at 10 am Sunday.
