Default Out with the old and in with the new

It has been a while but I now have my new seats. With these I now sit a little lower and further back. Most noticeable with the extra room around the knee area.

Rob
Kenmer Engineering down here in Noble Park made the frames for me.
As for the width Martin had to make them wider to accommodate my sveltte frame. These are about 500mm wide in the base but I think they come as standard around the 430 - 450 mm mark.
A local trimmer did the covers for me.
I have the seat frames bolted directly to the floor with only the compressed thickness of a BA Falcon seat cushion between my bum and the floor.

Default Seat finish comparison off same frames

Rob

For comparison, photos of the same ADR approved frame as supplied by Marty, though bare of upholstery.

And then with a traditional look finish.

My seat frames from Marty were shrunk a little in width, as I'm even more svelte and shorter of frame than Dougie.

From bolster to bolster where the seat meets the back, my seats are 480mm wide. This done to better accommodate the G-Force cabin limitations.

Nice looking seats Dougie.

The snake logo on the headrests is reminiscent of part of the vic club logo!

Default Seats

Dougie,

They look great, you will certainly notice the difference from the old

ones when it comes to wind buffeting and being slightly warmer in winter.

Great job,

Stiffy
