Default Pilot Light Question

Newbie here, still getting used to the BDR. Can anyone tell me what the amber pilot light in the cockpit is for? Does this mean the fan has kicked on? Thanks !

Yes, You can verify by switching it on manually, It's the switch to the left of the fuel pump switch.

As an aside, I hate the red ignition on indicator light. Too many years driving muscle cars from Detroit that never have enough gauges I guess, but red catches my eye and I am programmed to think bad things are happening. On my last order to Backdraft Parts, I got a green light to replace it.

When should this light be on?

Any time the ignition is on, my red light comes on.
