New sidepipes- Jay?
For the better part of two years I have had a terrible rattle as the internal baffle in my side pipes is loose. I have also heard the stock side pipes are restrictive.
I thought I remembered Jay working on new replacements in another thread? Anyone else have a line on side pipes that are less restrictive and better built. I don’t care about the noise!
Thanks

These are the pipes that we jointly developed:
https://www.gas-n.com/collections/si...14717770104874
If you want them ceramic coated we are suggesting you get that done locally so you have an easier warranty claim if there is anything wrong with the coating down the line.
We have them on atleast 4 customer cars now and the reviews have been excellent. Some owners post here and will probably add their opinions. They are superior in every aspect from the sound, appearance, fit, and polished finish. Only slightly more restrictive than the stockers but no major power difference.
Hopefully some owners will post photos of them on the cars. We spent a lot of time determining how we wanted the tips to look and the angle they have.
There is a bit of a backlog at the moment since we have had so much interest, so get your orders in.

Those look pretty nice Jay. IMO BDRs have always needed an aftermarket source for sidepipes that will flow good and bolt right up.

Would be interested how much quieter they are!
Probably a side by side comparison to the original pipes.
I have the flowmaster slimline installed and they are a litte bit quieter.
Would be happy to get more db and sound information.

That will all be coming soon. We’ve been waiting on customer feedback to see if we wanted to make changes, it’s all been so positive we are locked in on this design.

Thanks Jay! Glad to hear these are now available! When you say slightly more restrictive have you done any dynos? Ideally I don’t want to go the other direction on power. Thanks!

Unfortunately the Flowmaster Slimline mufflers have been discontinued. Only the non-sidepipe styles are still available - meaning a 3" core muffler has a 6" diameter case.

Exhaust systems
I would like more flow, complete system for 351 stroker and even a few more notches up, on the volume control. Stock sounds tame to me.

We just spent the better part of Saturday tweaking the fit. There's a lot of variance from car to car with different engines and installers
The brushed is very trick looking I agree.

Anyone have a picture of the inside of gas-N pipes from the tip side?
My SPF has polished side pipes- I'm trying to figure out if these are stockers or Gas-N. They seem to be stainless, so I'm hoping they were already swapped out
Thanks!
