Default Lap Times, Quarter Mile, 0-60, Etc...

I've always been curious about this. Have any of you ever (or are you aware of) performed/recorded BDR cobra lap times, quarter miles, 0-60's? There never seems to be much information on this. I know there are so many variables involved in such but it still would be a fun read. I consider the BDR cobra to be somewhat of a "resto-mod" if you will - meaning - still that classic car but so many upgrades to suspension/motor that it would be fun to compare to the original and/or other manufacturers.

A lot will depend on the driver and their skills. Many BDR’s have stroked 427’s and will just spin their tires all day long. No where near an expert but I have seen guys shave half a second off their 0-60 just through changing their launch. Someone with experience should get in the mid 3’s.

My Backdraft has a Roush 427r with a 370 rear. I can tell you from experience that standing stop launches are a challenge because the car is so light and powerful, 550 HP. It will break tires free in 3rd gear. It is intimidatingly quick.

Default mid-3's

My BDR has a 351w stroked to 418 with about 525 hp. Lots of issues trying to keep the tires glued to the pavement even going into 4th..Using a stopwatch it does about 3.6sec. 0-60. If I ran some slicks on a sticky track, I would say it could do about 3.3.

might works best if it would have a TC.
Is there actually a kit or a universal solution to add traction control.
Maybe someone here did this already?
