Default Backdraft Color Opinions

Greetings Cobra Fans!

I am contemplating the next Cobra for our inventory at Nostalgic Motoring LTD (www.nostalgicmotoringltd.com).

And I am debating colors and want to get your opinions!

There are 2 colors we are considering; 1) Monterey Red and 2) Sterling Silver.

The Monterey Red (pictured) is a color we are considering from Backdraft Racing. But the body is finished at the factory with tan interior.

Is Monterey Red a color on a Cobra that you'd consider?

If so would you like the tan interior or prefer black?

Then we are also considering a Sterling Silver with Silver Stripes. Very unique color combination.

Would this color appeal to you?

Thanks for your feedback!

Mine is dark blue with white stripes . I like the silver one better the red one shown looks like my grampas cobra and he has been gone a long time ago.

My car is monteray red. BDR says it's the only car they've ever imported to the US without stripes. It's a great color, and I get a lot of compliments on it. I think it's stunning.

It's also a factory GM color. So repairs and touch up paint are readily available.

I think red over a dark tan/light brown is a great combo. Really works well. I would have ordered mine that way, but I knew I was going to change the seats right away. And I couldn't find matching colors on the seats.

I'm not a fan of the stitching. To me it looks like packing blankets.

Not a fan of the tan. When I was shopping for my Cobra, there were only a couple of interior colors I would consider - black....and black. It's just....racier.

My original choice was the Monterey Red with the tan as a new order but settled on Avis Blue with White stripe and black interior because it was a deal I couldn't pass up. I also like the silver with black stripe and black with silver stripe. Only issue is I can't find any info on what white it is and Boyton Beach didn't know either.

I like the red but the tan interior is a no go. Not real big on the silver/gray but there was one in the trailor when I took delivery of 1891 that had that combo with red interior that was awesome!

What's the old saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

Both nice choices.

Because you asked, if it were me as a dealer, I would go with the Silver because I think there would be more of a market for that color combo. Just my thought.
