Looks incredible. Curious - how easy is the “on / off” of it and total weight? I am planning to get one with my car when the build is done.

What kind of AC are you going to put in it? It's going to get warm in there.

Ive heard from several people with hard tops that it is actually cooler without the sun beating down on you with the top on.

Havent actually had to take it off yet, only had it for two days before I brought it back to have the rest of the work finished. Just grabbed it for my track day. It is only 4 attachment points on the body, the two hinges on the windshield frame and the tension rod in the center of the windshield. I have a hoist set up in my garage from when I had a Jeep Wrangler for about two months before trading it in for a pick up so I could tow the cobra. Hopefully that will work.

Corner weight with nobody in the car shows it to weigh in at 2799 with the top. I have been told it is easy to lift off with one person on each side.

When you get in the car ...your body weight will only be on the LF, LR, & RR....

The car was corner weighted with driver in it after the one I showed above. Only showed that as they asked total weight with top. Slightly higher weight on left side of car. Cross weights are really close. I am thinking of getting a set of scales so I can play around with this a bit after I dial in the suspension. That in itself is completely adjustable now so could take a bit of fine tuning.

I have heard the same. Being in the Chicago weather I am going to add the top and a heater to get a few more months out of it before it goes up in the winter.

That was one factor for me too, extending the driving season in Ma. I dont have a heater but did add heated seats.

Our cars look almost identical, yours having the GT body and mine having the ghosted wide center stripe.

Your tire temps when you come in off track are very important to balance the chassis.....also the tire pressure is equally as important....

So the question becomes do change a tire pressure....or a corner height...or a sway bar setting ...or a shock setting...multiple choice.....

Yup agree. I keep a log book of shock settings, tire pressures and tire temps. Just swapped to a set of adjustable sway bars and haven't starting messing with those yet. Still playing mostly with tire pressures (and tires them selves depending on weather with my hoosiers and Nittos) and shock settings at the moment.
