Resurrection of my old website...
About 3 years (4?) since Comcast killed it's "Personal Website Service", losing just over 3 years of my build site, I've decided to bring it back via WIX.com.
Because it's going to take time to transfer the pictures over (and not even sure if Wix will limit how my MB/GB I can utilize), I'm not sure when I'll be completely done, however, I have started it and completed 3 months from when the project started back in October of 2003.
My plan is to do 1 month a week, so what you will see, will continually be updated for the remainder of this year, perhaps bleeding into 2018. It's rather neat to go down memory lane to revisit a lot of what I had done, and how many grammatical and spelling errors I have.
Anyhoo, here's the site address... enjoy!

Hi 289fia_cobra.
I'm curious....did/do you have a 289FIA as well as your MkIII?
Cheers,
Glen

No. Just the MKIII.
When I first started researching the kits, I found the ERA's 289 Kit one of the most beautiful kits in 1998. I still have the picture of a well built USRRC 289 Cobra from their brochure ( $5 as I recall.)
So as I joined all the forums, I used "289FIA_Cobra" as my handle. I never did go that route, but settled for the 427 style because of the curves over the fenders.
Still, there are times I wish I had gotten a 289 body but FFR didn't have it back in 2003.

Herman, you have a great chronicle of your build and it is a valuable resource for everyone considering such a project. Thanks to your experiences, it became clear that it would be far too daunting an undertaking for me. Hope that we can hook up at a breakfast in the near future. Richard
