Too bad he does not drive it.........I personally would rather have a 100300 mile GT, than a hanger queen. But then I AM different!

I wish he would also! If it was mine it would be driven also. He does drive his 427 Cobra. He is a big ford guy and ownes around 40 cars. He has some awesome 61 Starliners and 63 Galaxie 500 XL's. He is also into 66 and 67 Fairlanes.

What a beautiful car. Too bad he's preserving it for the next guy (Note to self: I want to be that next guy).

Oh please drive it!!! I do (see pic above). I drove my Cobra too. What is the purpose of it if you don't enjoy it? Like Hunter Thompson said, “Faster, Faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.” You'll never experience that if it just sits in the garage.

I have heard of some Ford GT owners that have a couch and TV in the garage next to their cars. Mine sits next to my wife's jeep.

Please, drive the snot out of your cars. Life's too short to not enjoy them.

Drive em all. These cars can be daily drivers and then take them out to the track for a little exercise. That is their legacy!

Very sad, reminded me of a guy who bought a Porsche GT then mothballed it, why?

These are cars, not a painting on the wall!

Default Ford GT

When you don't drive them seals dry out and become brittle, then leak. The AC compressor looses it's charge, valve springs begin to loose tension on valves that are open etc etc

While the GT is a very nice car I doubt that the increase in value from having a very low mileage example will be enough to compensate for not having use of the car for years. There are still well over 3000 of them out there so not that difficult to buy one. I run the crap out of mine and enjoy every minute of it.

We have a member of the Upper Midwest SAAC that has an 05 with 58,000 miles on it (last time I looked) and that's in Minnesota having a short season. Drove it to Maxwell the last two years and back home. It still looks very nice too. Gotta love it!

The snout bearings on my supercharger failed. I am reasonably certain that the storage had some impact on that.

I drive my FORD GT but I dont drive it a lot , not that I am afraid of the milegae but I am always concerned about the other morons on the road that tail gate you and drive recklessly around you just to make a statement , I have had some close calls , The GT is also not the easiest car to park and leave alone

I drive my cobra a lot it is a blast
