I know someone will have the dates here.

BTW- but does anyone still have a source for the LeMans well gas cap kit for a CR1? Prefer the look of the recessed LeMans cap in the fender.

And has anyone installed a Hydroboost brake booster on their Cobra? My old vacuum booster and MC are looking bad. So as I start soon on the CR 1 ('90 kit I purchased was never finished by the two previous owners) I need to address this area. Go fast needs stop fast too!

Now that was interesting. I got my kit in 1999 so was in between the problem times because I had no issues and they good to deal with. Don Scott built my engine and supplied the transmission as a sub to CR. I am glad I was able to get
Don's improved side pipes while he was still in business - big improvement!

I got my Lemans gas cap well from Ed Combs (Double Venom). He hasn't signed in to Club Cobra since September bit it's still worth a try. His phone number is 231-869-4608. He would also know the company history you're interested in.

I did leave a message on Ed's phone over a week ago. No answer. Actually, I am a little concerned that he has not been on the site since last September.

If anyone else had heard from him, would like to know he and his family is OK. He has been a wealth of information and support for so many of us on this site. Definitely one of the "good guys" in this industry/hobby.

Thanks guys for info. And Eds' number. And no i have not had much to do with the hydro booster brake system , they do. Have a funky pedal feel sometimes but they work.i still prefer the vacume style. Bulldog
