Cobra Make, Engine: Classic 427, I purchased it May 2005, the kit was bought in 1991. I'm not sure when it was completed! Installed GMPP Connect & Cruise 376/525 with T-56 S/M 3.55 gears about 2 years ago! 1/4 miles is with old setup!

Default Rollbar-Cage

Anyone install a cage in their CR-II. I think I really should do one!

Any help or advice will be appreciated!

If there was a drag strip within 100 miles of me, I’d like to.

I reinforce the fake roll bar but it doesn't have the 3rd bar, just the U.

I was well over 130 a couple of days ago. Nothing crazy but the front felt kind of light? It could have been a cross-wind or just the road. I have been that fast before and didn't notice it! What kind of HP you getting out of that 408?

Not sure. As a 6.0 with everything else the same, it dynoed 530 flywheel. Never tested it with the stroker kit.

Mine too, about the same speed, maybe a little more. Enough so that I didn't try to push it higher even though there was more than enough go to do so.

I believe you will begin feeling the front being pushed up by air along about 110 mph. I do in mine and did in my Miata as well.

I've had mine to a little over 140 mph but that was with an iron block SBC, it felt good and solid! I've had the current setup (LS3) over 120 mph a number of times and it seemed OK but not as good as when the front-end was heaver! It's also sitting a bit higher but it's hard to judge how much because I also changed the wheels and went to a little bigger tire at the same time!

I bought the QA 1 suspension kit from Classic Roadsters II just before they went under, 2006 I think? Any idea of the spec's?
