Default Windshield wiper motor wiring

I wired up the windshield wiper motor and had a melt down, I bought a replacement piece for the park and high low connector, does anyone have a pic of where the wires are supposed to be,

Did you have the melt down, or was the melt down on the wiper motor or plug?

Does this help?

The top photo black is motor ground and red and yellow are high and low speed
Ground is the top spade and the two vertical spades are high and low
Put the red on top, yellow on bottom, I just think that red would be hi check that
The bottom photo is Classic wire harness spades
This is on page 6-7 in the manual
Top horizontal says “ground- remove from terminal and connect to chassis ground #190”
Top right vertical- constant power from ignition #123
Bottom right- park circuit- connect to low speed terminal #149
Top left vertical- hi speed wiper power #148
Bottom left- lo speed wiper power #149
#123,#148,#149 are in the Chevy steering column pigtail harness #1002320 page 3-74 in manual
Switch is in turn signal lever if you have Chevette, wire accordingly if not

Party On
Wyatt
