Default Heater control bezel 1990 Classic Roadster

I was member some years ago but the project got put on hold. I have a Cobra that was built in 1992. It was not finished properly and got put away. I bought it about ten years ago and did a lot of work on it but it was put aside for the last 6 years. It is now time to finish it up. I am missing the bezel for the heater controls. The controls are recommended part that looks to be out of a 83-90 Dodge. I see a lot of the Classic Roadster builds used it. If you have one or know where I can find one please contact me. Thank you

I just looked in the CR manual, it says that it is a part from CR. The component selection charts and parts description doesn't say what its from. I'm missing some parts from my heater box, so I may scrap the CR system and go with a system from vintage air (heater defog box and controls) that use servo controls rather than vacuum controls.

I'm gonna keep watching the thread

That's all the control's were, something off the shelf GM knobs (Monza, Chevette, etc), I think most of us, used some after market pieces, I'd send a picture of my dash but it may come out upside down. Here go's, don't blame me if it's comes out better in the Southern half of the world I just used 3-postion Toggle switches. Cheers TommyRot.

Thank you for the replies. My dash is all set up with gages and switches except for the heater control bezel and the vinyl dash wrap. I have the dash cover that CR supplied but I may go for a cover I can fab out of a more pliable vinyl that will better conform to the shape. I found a pic on the internet of a dash with the same heater control that I have on mine. It shows the identical setup as mine and the bezel I am looking for.

Thanks for the reply. My options are limited because all of the heater hardware and the vacuum solenoids are all in place and buried now. The only option I have if I can not find the bezel is to cut the opening small in the dash and mount the controls to the rear of the dash. Then wrap the upholstery around the opening and glue it to rear of the dash. The dash is fully cut out for everything except the heater controls. Another reason to keep the current controls is that they match up perfectly to the operation of the heater, vent and defroster vacuum pods.

I have the original ones, to include the replacement cover sticker that CR used. i can check P/N's or whatever. I will not be using mine in my build.

Hey Tom, that's not the right way to make it right hand drive to match your British Racing Green!
