Couple more hours. :-)
Looks great. Did you make motor mounts or use the Classic mounts? C6 fit ok? Once you go big block its hard to go back.

That intake setup is going to starve that engine of fresh air. Replace the lid with a filter lid.

What motor mount bolts to the motor? Building some in stainless from photos in the manual, can you get size of the rectangles maybe up under there?
The motor in my bus turns out to be a fresh 390 .040 over with C5AE heads.
Gotta use it rite.
I think Farmtruck and AZN will end up with the party bus and it will get a 632 and be on TV racing the Okla State Pen Green Lizard.
What about headers?
What’s this huge round thing on this C6 tailshaft?
Party On

Thanks, I have searched a long time for the numbers.
I found a place that will electropolish at a reasonable price, these stainless parts will shine like chrome.
They will look good with the chrome spray painted a-arms…
Looks like the FE 2290 rubber mount.
Piece of cake thanks again.

I would say "OCD" but that is out of sequence- it should be "CDO"

I am getting more and more, where I like the C6 in a Cobra! As you know, Carroll seemed to have had a thing for that combo also. Besides the Super Snake, he had, I believe two different 428s with C6s, which he heaped praise on. He also had one, maybe two MKII small blocks with the same. When it came time for his last ever Cobra, a CSX8000, well you already guised it! No one can argue with Shelby's shifting prowess, safe to say, he shifted more gears then about anyone here! Cheers, Dennis

At the time is was the strongest, although heavy trans available. Today that isn't the case, very slight mods to a C-4 results amazing results. Yes people will argue the pros and cons all day long. Then someone will come along with a Poweglide has less drag/ is better blah, blah, blah. Either way it will be great as long as you don't put a useless GM paperweight in it.
