Good luck, do you know the backspacing on your 18"s?

Hey @74proii

Fronts are 18 x 9.5 with 4”BS
Rears are 18 x 11 with 5.5”BS

It’ll be different for other rear axle housings and also if you have disk brakes. If I were to do it again I’d go a tiny bit narrower to tuck the wheels in- just a personal preference.

Thanks for that, still not sure , probably will go 17" as i will be running 14 GT brakes, and so on. Read through the comments on the listing. Typical loser comments. I've seen many $80K cars with fit/finish and paint issues. Still astounds me how critical everyone want to be, and the "real" Shelby comparisons. They the ones looking a "kit" not a $400k plus "real" one which has they're own flaws. Oh the Drama.

74PROii, You're a bit behind the valuations on "real" i.e. original Cobras. True, the fiberglass continuation "real" cars might go for $400K but the actual aluminum originals would be a steal at double that.

$45K is the new $35K in economy class.
Lots of miles, not a bad thing. It’s using the MSO as VIN.
If I was young I’d buy every Classic I could. These cars were the swan song of the infamous Jeffery Davis (president of CMC 1978 to president of Classic at time of 1992 bankruptcy). He knew about building cars.
I bought a Classic Roadsters so I could narrow and tub the rear end but now, no don’t think so.

As I stated recently, The CR may not be the most advanced suspension design, but after visiting the FFR showroom and viewing the quality of the body/interior- I'm less than impressed.

The EWRA & and a couple of others are very good as following the original- but do we really think if Ol' Shel was still "racing" these things, would he still be using this old a design of suspension? He went to something complexly different on the next gen Cobra.

I went for a quality of the body. At my age, it's about the look and ride!
