Cobra Make, Engine: Don't think I'll be getting a Cobra for a long time... Do have '94 RX-7 R2.

The guy was on to something when he built the Cobra. Does anyone know his history?

Hap,

Met DV for the 2nd Double Venom Spring Fling which he started by challenging the west coast cobra owners to a chocolate chip cookie contest the year before.

When there was cash left over they looked for a charity and discovered that Dave Smith (Factory Five owner) had a daughter who has cystic fibrosis so it began. Team Jenny became the focus for the annual gathering.

He was the first I’m aware of to put a Viper V10 into a cobra thus the screen name.

When Ed could no longer head up the event, the Ohio Cobra Club stepped in and has been running it since. Quite successfully.

Ed was amazing to me when my cobra had engine failure with a place to store it and let me borrow his truck to find parts. Noone could have been kinder or more supportive.
