Default Hey from across the pond

Another Brit sticking his nose in your business here!

Currently building an AK sports cars 427 cobra.
Chassis is all built up, engine and gearbox fitted, currently off having its custom exhausts made.
Then it’ll be body back off, custom wiring loom and then finish all the small bits and pieces before body back on and fitting all the external bits.

Quick basic spec:

-402ci 9.2” deck motorsport block based engine.
-Dry sump. Way overbuilt for the car but it’ll be fun!
-Custom designed and manufactured 8 stack efi ITB system
-Custom headers and Gas N side pipes
-T56 magnum gearbox
-Jaguar XJ40 uprights/hubs and rear custom ramped powerlok diff
-Nitron suspension
-6 pot front brakes, 4 pot rears
-17” American racing alloys

Fair few bits left to do but the plan is to be able to drive it to Le Mans Classic next year, fingers crossed!

Welcome aboard! Sounds like one heck of a build. I hope you post some pics of the car when you can and of course some more details about your engine.

Hey there from sunny Bedfordshire!

I too love the sound of your build. It'll be great to see some pictures, when you can post them. I have ambitions to build my own Cobra in the next few years. A stroked Windsor is likely to be my choice for power too. A custom-designed 8-stack sounds amazing! I'd love to see some details.
