Default For ERA Collectors Only

If you are a true ERA fan, I've got a deal for you. I have four fiberglass! original inserts for the Centerline fake knockoff wheels. They stopped making them way back in the mid 80's (cause they would distort and wobble). But these would make some type of great wall hanger for the garage, or you could start/add to a collection of "vintage" Era Collector historic parts.

I know, this should have been in Parts for Sale, but who else but an ERA owner would want them?

Please respond to a427sc@aol.com thanks.

We stopped selling them because Centerline changed the rim profile and our stock would no longer fit in the (currently selling) wheels. What killed an updated casting/machining effort was low demand due to the economical alternative of the 5-pin Vintage conversion.

Patrick, send me your email and I will send you pictures. Don't have any online place to link to.

Chas Sold the car back in 02. Went to the DC area. He sold it and I wish I knew where it went.

Anybody know where #50 is now?

I think that they would be cool to have, and I don't have an ERA...

Next time I go down into the catacombs of the house basement, I'll look for any remaining pieces.

Check for the cast aluminum versions Bob-they were very nice and fit well in Centerlines--just too heavy.

I'm in just to see pictures of what the OP is talking about... Where these "wheel cover" type items that simulated the look of a Halibrand-style wheel over another wheel?

You can email me or Patrick pics...if you send them to me, I'll host them on photobucket.. allen.bishop@volvo.com

Yeah, I figured out what they were yesterday. I don't want them on any of my walls.

A quick note here. Some people seem to think I want a lot, and the "hubcaps" are something special. I know they are useless to most everybody. Make an interesting offer is all. Seems too bad to throw them in the can, but that's where they'll end up.
Sort of like National Lampoon "subscribe now or we kill the dog"
