Default Newbee ERA #854

Hello everyone. Just want to introduce myself.

My name is Bob Rollin. I live in Brighton, Michigan. My ERA creation has recently passed the two year mark. Peter says the chassis has been sent to paint. He did not indicate how much longer it could be. I suspect many more months...

I am recently retired and have dreamed about Cobra's since I was a kid. Have had many fast cars and motorcycles. I've been restoring motorcycles the past 20 years. I am now tired. Going to get a roller and have paint completed by Connecticut Custom Cars. Probably will be Sapphire Blue with white stripes. I have a 427 Side Oiler nearly completed at Survival Motorsports. Looking to make the car as original as possible.

I will have many questions in the coming months I am sure. Looking forward to meeting fellow ERA owners.

Merry Christmas!

Well that is very nice indeed. When do you guess the car will be on the road?

838 picked up April 1. It took 11 months for paint and body, and about 3 for ERA to partially assemble.

It is rewarding to build an ERA.

Bubbas,
I put down my deposit in Oct 2021. Body and chassis finally this week go to Ron Randall at Metal-Morphus for conversion to a narrow hip 427 and paint. Are you sure your car is #853? That's the number Peter assigned to mine.

Sorry. I am 854. It was changed somewhere along the line.
