Default What is the current state of Hurricane?

I don't see much activity on this forum and was wondering if Hurricane is still manufacturing and selling replicas.

Default Still in production

Hurricane Motorsports is still in production, units being shipped each month. There is a small loyal group of owners who remain pretty active, both here and on the Hurricane forum.

Seems like all the "build" type forums have slowed down some amount. Don't know if that is weather related or economy related - probably both.

Have you tried the Hurricane Forum? Call to Steve at Hurricane and express your interest to him. Tell him I sent you

Yeah, Hurricane needs a monthly "Chatter Report" from Steve on what going on around Lake City and Hurricane activity. Great bunch of people and nice facility , too bad their out in the middle of Iowa......more folks could stop by and visit.
Hope to get by again next time in Iowa.

Bill

Yes, I hope to contribute more to the Hurricane "build sites" more very soon. I haven't been able to make any progress in 2014 due to other family and work priorities.

Glad to hear. I'm getting closer and closer to buying a Cobra (I joined this forum in 1999!) and Hurricane is near the top of the list.

Drivin: let us know how we can help. There are quite a few Hurricane owners/builders in Texas - D/FW, Houston, Austin, San Antonio.

It's good to hear Hurricane is doing well. I put a lot of miles on HM1008 this past summer, and I'm counting the days until this cold Michigan winter passes!

Hurricane is one of my favorite Cobra's but I know the all the work that went into the design of their kit. A very good bang for your buck and something you can track or cruise with confidence.
