Starting problem solved
After many tries and a lot of frustration, I finally solved the ignition problem, it turns out that the mini starter was the problem all along, after pulling the starter I sent it to a friends shop that rebuilds starters, alternators, etc...(Anflo Auto Electric Inc. Amityville, NY). After tearing down the starter he found that the internals were all corroded and has seized, he rebuilt the starter and after it was reinstalled the car fired up. The roblem with the starter caused a cascading effect, because the starter was drawing more and more voltage to try and crank the motor it caused the wiring connector heat up and melt which caused the starter relay to fail. The MSD Streetfire box and the new MSD distributor are performing as they should. Though everything is doing what it's suppose to do, I still acquired a 428 distributor with vacuum advance and installed a Pertronix Ignitor II for a backup, and found stored in my garage an FE distributor that I had purchased for my 68 Mustang GT 25 years ago (points distributor still in the box wrapped up). Lessoned learned always do the simplest first. Now on to the next task putting the three canister system to replace the single reservoir for the brakes and the clutch, this is for safety reasons only and to get a good set of free flowing muffler for the side pipes (right now there is nothing in there its basically open headers). GOD I love this stuff!:
