I wonder why it erks me when someone says the price is "firm". Ha Ha Ha... everything is negotiable. It turns me off, must be my little issue. Good luck!

My personal irk is people who in this day and age, when a child's education costs close to a million lifetime dollars, and when every device seems to come with a spellchecker feature, still manage to write gibberish.
Please review the use of apostrophes and contractions. Thank you. You seem well-prepared and an excellent match for your future Corvette-mates.

If you need any help with the Vette, let me know! I recommend SRIII for a new chassis! I will be more than happy to discuss which components work best and which are not so hot...ie ABS electronic braking systems are incredible, but I would avoid hydratech systems!
56-57 are my wife's favorite and we plan on building one into a restomod in the near future. I just finished up a 63 split window restomod and I am now currently working on a 63 convertible restomod...both have srIII chassis' with C6 suspension all around. The first restomod i built was a 66 with a street shop chassis, but i recommend staying far away from their chassis'.
A few pictures of the 63 I completed recently.

For $2,000 more plus shipping, you can purchase a brand new base/no options roller directly from the manufacturer.

Rod,
Don`t forget the cost of the drive train that puts the base file finish car up to around 100,000 as I believe you have mentioned in the past.

Trust me, I didn't forget it, mainly because I went through it.
My subtle point was that madmaxx's offer of $78K may have been legit for all I know, but hopefully it was a joke. As you said, $80K gets you a file finish base roller. And used finished Kirkham's for $80K have been non-existent for a few years.
