Kirkham shopping
I'm looking at the Kirkhams I can find on the usual net sites ... a few nice cars out there. If anyone knows of one or has one for sale, please PM or email me. Thanks!

KMP 268 has a new home
Just to report back to those who so kindly responded to my request ... I have purchased a Kirkham. KMP 268 is well known as the 2004 SEMA car, currently displayed on the factory web site. I will have it here tomorrow
I need a Kirkham hat!
Thanks and regards,
Sam

Thanks Rodney!
The engine is just mind boggling from what I am accustomed to. It makes 625 hp/612 tq .. but they only ran it up to 5500 rpm. So who knows ...
Shelby 427/495 FE block, Moldex billet crank, Carillo titanium rods, Aviaid pan, external timing BELT (never seen this on an FE), TWM FI, Fast controller, K&N airbox, Accusump, that's the major stuff. This engine cost $42K back in 2003! Everything is the high end solution. Penske adjustable shocks, Heim joints on all links and shifter rods. Stainless chassis, 42 gal tank

Sam,
That picture graced my work area for the twelve months between Kirkham open house in 2004 and me taking possession of #318. A long and exciting year.
Enjoy

As I understand it, the 2004 SEMA display was organized at the FORD booth and the Kirkham was to represent a component car that might use one of the fine Ford crate motors that they were featuring at SEMA. Of course the people who know realize the Kirkham was just eye candy. The 351W crate motors Ford was displaying would not be likely to be used in a Kirkham 427.
So I think the car was just a chassis at that point and had no pipes or even a motor in it. I haven't seen any photos of the motor from the SEMA display. Today it looks like this:
The GY Billboards are a little aged since they are from the 2004 show Wearing Avon CR6ZZs lately.
Ted ... here you go. The timing belt is very hard to see as it is behind the waterpump:
