Ceramic Glaze
I had both of my cars did with the Ceramic Glaze which puts a layer of glass over them and it guaranteed for 5 years. The paint looks better than when it was new and I am very pleased with the results. No water spots. dust doesn't stick at all, and small gravel like cars throw up won't chip it. And if something does chip it they will come back and repair it free.

Never heard or seen that product? Can you add to that Ron? Do you have to send them "out" and done by a pro? Or can they do it where the car is? Since my paint is new (Jan.) and still at Old School Garage for final assy. I would be very interested. Thanks Tom.

Check this sites applicator search function for an applicator in your area. The exhaust does need to come off to do a proper job.

No, I didn't have to send them out. They sent people here to the house to do it and the stuff they used was developed by NASA. It is basically the same type of glaze they used on the space shuttle tiles. But it has some chemicals in it that really makes the paint stand out. I went to this outfit to see if they had people out here and then called the people direct as it was about 1/3rd the price they quote. And the people that did mine are local and just live about 18 miles from me. In fact what this outfit wants $900 for they did for me for $499.

Ron... If that price included total paint cleaning with clay bar, correction/polishing, and the coating you got a great deal!

It included total cleaning with chemicals and clay bar and doing the wheels and tires. They spent about 7 hours on each car.

They have dust on them in that picture but I can't keep that darn dust out of the house or garage. If you can't see them let me know and I will see what I can do. I have no trouble seeing them.

I don't understand that. I can see the picture OK. Do you see anything at all like the little box?
Let me see if I can attach it.
