David Hobbs took a moment from commenting on the Spanish Grand Prix to tell us the actor portraying Lauda captured him so well as to make Hobbs uncomfortable, much as does Lauda's demeanor to many that meet him. Nicknames carry a bit of truth and this time, "The Rat" comes across with such fidelity you will be happy walking from the theatre, knowing you left it all behind.

No re-enactment comes close to the real thing. Having watched F1 since the early 70's, my expectations are low

I often find low expectation is the key to retrospective high enjoyment.
