Phil,
I bought one of the first ones they sold and they gave me a big discount because I let them use a picture of it with my Cobra on out in their sales brochure. I still use it all of the time and it has really been great for working under the cars with. I don't have a high enough ceiling in my garage for a regular 4 post lift and this was a great answer to my problems of getting under the car. I see that you have the bridge on it also.

Ron,
Actually I have two that came with it. They sure come in handy.

I love mine too! Have the 2 bridges and installed the LiftLyte LED lighting system. I also don't have ceiling clearance for a 4-post so this works just great!!

Rather than using a bottle jack to get it up on the bridges, I went this route.
About $250 if I remember right. Works awesome and you can put the jack stands under both sides at same time without the hassle of moving the bottle jack. Quick and easy!

That's another hot tip that Lippy just showed. 3M non-skid tape on the ramps. I did same and included a strip where you get in the car. They can get squiggly if you come home with wet tires.

Excellent point. I should extend the outside strip to the door area.

The bottle jack fits on the bridge fine. The jack is 20 ton air/hydraulic ($100) and does the job. I used it this time to raise the the lift so I could put 4x6's under the legs to raise the whole thing up a little higher for my annual spring cleaning.
I have two of those air bags on my truck that you show in your video, which is very cool.

There we are. Grip tape through the door.
And a gratuitous shot of the patrickt approved LED light show courtesy of Lift Lyte.

Bernica,
I know you were the guy who turned me on to the Lift Lyte, thank you
I just meant that patrickt loves his LED's, like on his self-made third brake light. Take a look at Pat's Cobra at his local night time car show...

I want to get one of those, but was wondering if it was a hassel driving up that ramp every time you came back home.

Not at all. You just need a dedicated area in your garage because it is heavy and not too easy to move around.

I have the optional casters on my lift. With them in place, I can push the car around inside the garage or out into the driveway, without having to let the lift down. Very convenient.

How does this differ to having a ramp with a pivot about half way, so as you drive up, it will teeter, and also be up in the air. Like they use at car yards.

I also have the sticky tape like they use on the houseboats here to keep people from slipping when it is wet. When I went to the bid April car show here they were trying to put a Super Bee on one for people to see and it kept slipping as the grass was damp. I told the woman what I had did and they went down to the hardware store and got some and the problem was solved. Then I looked at their book and there was my Cobra on mine. Mine are now 20 different colors as I use them to paint stuff on when the car is off. I also back my car onto the ramps and I got some silver tape and ran a strip down the ramp so when I keep the rear tire just along that strip I am on them perfectly. Then I put a cross strip at the top where I wanted to stop.
As you can see mine have b een used a lot and aren't nice and clean any more.
The air bag idea is something that I hadn't thought of.

Not at all. In fact, when I'm just parking it and know I will be taking it out again soon I just leave the rear down. Drive up, park and walk away.
Wheel chocks are a good idea too.
