Dissention in the ranks?
What do I hear about members not getting along? We all have cobras in one form or another. They may be different makes but aren't we supposed to be out having fun with them? lets put our differences aside and lets get back in the groove. a few runs, 3rd Saturday breakfasts. it must be time to start thinking about the toy run at Christmas and apple hill. I hate to quote Rodney King, but Can't we all get along?"

No offense, but I don't get along with anybody. Just ask my wife.

Not sure what you are referring to unless I'm out of the loop. There has been a drop in the 3rd Sat attendance, but I think it is because its been hot and summer vacations get in the way. I for one have had mechanical problems, which have kept me away. We have an e-mail list for some of the group who try and stay in touch. Anyone that wants to be added to the list can send me a PM and I'll add you.

I'm with you Phil. I have no idea what the "dissension" is. I haven't been to the last few 3rd Saturday meetings just because I've had other things going on and I also had the Cobra out of commission for a while doing some engine work. I hope to make it to the September get-together.

Well, I don't really know what's going on (nothing new there), but attendance has certainly dropped off, irrespective of cars and coffee. My car is in the shop, and I haven't felt like attending in a pickup, so that's my excuse.
That said, I've heard whispers/grumbling amongst some members in the past, too.
Lets just let the past be the past, and see if we can't get things rolling again. I'll certainly get something going for Christmas. Perhaps I can find a way to do something at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento, like what we'd been doing at the now defunct Sutter Memorial.
In the mean time, maybe I'll show up in some other jalopy until I get the GT back on the road.

I'm all for getting things together with the group. Let's keep in mind that the 3rd Saturaday is in 2 weeks and the weather isn't usually that bad in September.
