Default Anyone want to do the toy run this year?

I know it's late, maybe too late. But I thought I'd gage the interest in doing this event. I haven't contacted SMCS, but I think we could probably work something out.

I've been working crazy hours, and I'm sure many of you have been busy too.

Let me know what you think before I before I go forward with any decisions.

Ron

Default Toy Run

Would do it in a heartbeat, but first need to get the car into my mechanic. It suddenly developed one of those “I’m pretty sure it’s nothing serious but . . .” noises, and I need to have it checked out.

If you’re going to do it on the 8th or 15th we’ll do our best!

I probably won't make it, I'm having a little drivability issue that I'm trying to work out.

Cobras aren't required. It's just nice to get out for breakfast and get toys to the kids.

Default Yes.

Ron, Phil:
Yes, count me in. You know...agree, crazy, same place as you
Car will be ready by then. Finally got it down for some maintenance this week.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Replaced mufflers two weeks ago. No more loud Cobra. So much nicer to drive.
-Intake/Pan/rear main seal being replaced now.
-Inspected and adjusting valves. No time, caved in...enlisted buddy FE/Tom.
-Distributor advance wasn't working.

If all else checks out well, can't wait to get car back out, it loves cooler weather!

Good point, John! One year we all had to drive something with a top and windows due to a storm.

Made some calls this afternoon.

I'm thinking the 15th of December might work. Last time we arrived at the SMCS at about 10:30 am. Was that about right, too early or too late? Let me know what you think, so I can ignore you .

OK,

It's a go. Everything is set up. Usual time and place on the 15th of December. I'll put out an official notification in a couple of days.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
