As long as your moving, rain flys over your head and only drips on your knees. Stoplights suck so wear your Helly Hansen sailing rain gear but leave the boots at home. Always have a car cover and tarp, use tons of Rain-X on the wind screen since 10-inch wipers don't do much of anything. But then there is the minor traction issue, but that's always a challenge dry or wet, just a little more challenging in the wet.
Of course to stay dryer at the stoplights, you can put a top on your roadster although in my humble opinion then it will resemble the Munster Mobile. Not the Drag-U-La coffin dragster Grandpapa made for Herman to race, but the family Koach stretch Model T with the Shelby 289 in it.
